Our First Field Trip!

In early February, the 6th grade is going to visit the American Museum of Natural History, to take a workshop called "Water, Weather, and Climate."

From the Museum:
Journey into the Museum’s Hall of North American Mammals and Biodiversity and explore the different forms of water on Earth as well as the Water Cycle.  Students will learn how water influences weather and how climatic regions on Earth can be defined based on the availability of water for plants and animals.  Urban Advantage Class Visit Admission Vouchers cover the cost of this 120-minute class.

As always, we could really use parent chaperones for the trips. We leave the school at 9:30 and return around 2:15. I hope you can join us!
